So &Juliet has been doing pretty well the first two quarters of 2025 but this past fall has been....barely scraping by breakeven and their grosses this October have been worse than Octobers past...how concerned should we be? I'd really hate to see this show go and am nervously biting my nails for the holiday season numbers

I think it could stay open through the holidays, but if they don't get some stunt casting to guarantee high ticket sales, it could be gone by January

Oh yeah, they'll definitely be here in the holidays and will hit year 3, and they DO have Kandi Burruss coming in to replace Cheryl I believe, but yeah if we don't see a holiday rebound we very well may be cooked.
Call me delusional, but I still hope Stephen Kopel, Carrie Gardner, and their associates can reel in Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini as Anne + Will for the eventual home stretch of the Broadway run.
The stunt casts until then can build, and build, and build. There are so many enticing options on paper and it would be such a shame if this show didn't go out with a bang.

Kelly as Anne would absolutely slay. Also I know Juliet herself is not a role that is stunt cast but I NEED them to stunt Sophia Laforteza from Katseye as her. She's got an MT background (and mom's an MT actress herself) AND she's part of THE Gen Z girl group so her casting would definitely guarantee lights on at the Sondheim for another year (idk if that's me being delulu but oh well).
I'd also like to see Joe Locke as Francois
Juliet, Romeo, May, and François don't necessarily have to be stunt-cast. In fact, I think it works better when they're unknowns.
I would love to see two people currently dating IRL as Romeo and Juliet, though :)
