June Trip to NYC... show suggestions?!

Hey all! Since the announcement regarding Lea Salonga's involvement as Fantine in the Les Miz revival, I have since convinced my family to return to New York in June to see her. This is around my 18th birthday, so I will also be allowed to see 2, possibly 3, more shows. My thoughts as of now are Les Miz, 110 In The Shade, Mary Poppins, and (if I am permitted to see a fourth...) Curtains.
I was wondering about everyone's thoughts. I am definitely seeing Les Miz, but I am open to suggestions for the other 2 or 3 shows!

Go to the Tony Awards!
I say see some new shows with original casts, like curtains, but maybe Pirate QWueen, or Legally Blonde, or Xanadu. Those are the most exciting times for me.

Posted: 1/3/07 at 5:29pmpants2, I saw Spring Awakening in its first matinee preview on November 18th. And I would DEFINITELY eliminate something to see it if I hadn't already! It was the best show I have seen on Broadway!

I havn't actually seen to many shows live recently myself, but I hear Grey Gardens is amazing! And I'm betting Legally Blonde will be pretty cute

Posted: 1/3/07 at 5:39pmI agree that you should skip Mary Poppins. First of all, you'll probably be able to see it on your next trip to NY or on tour. Go see Christine Ebersole's performance in Grey Gardens. It (and the show) are NOT to be missed!

I saw The Pirate Queen in Chicago in its first matinee preview (seems to be a trend with me, eh?), and I think it would be interesting to see how it has changed.
Right now, LoveMusik and Curtains are real possibilities over Mary Poppins... it doesn't sound like many people have truly loved it...

GO SEE GREY GARDENS!!!! I saw it and was hooked. Christine Ebersole is going to win the Tony for these roles. She is nothing short of amazing to watch and hear. It is incredible.
