Hey everyone!
I hope you all had a great holiday, and happy new year!
I spend Christmas in Manchester, England and then went onto Ireland. In Manchester, Grease (the version that premiered with Debbie Gibson) is STILL playing over there, at the Palace Theatre. I caught it and I have to say it was soooooo odd!
All these English folks trying to do American accents!! I actually prefered the Broadway revival with Rosie.
But there is a lot of theatre there (outside of London) and it is actually very affordable!
So, if you're ever overseas, go see stuff!
Also, my roommate's cousin (who we stayed with) is doing Little Shop of Horrors in Dublin. An amature group, but I went to a rehearsal on Saturday, and the cast is VERY good!! For an amature show, they have their stuff together. But it was a hoot to hear Suddenly Seymore and all the songs we know so well from the show in Irish accents!
