#0Just a question..
Posted: 9/5/06 at 7:02pmIf any of you could make it to the RENT 10th Anniversary performance, you know the song "Christmas Bells", right? The song that involves almost the whole company before Maureen's performance, and they wrote that out in the movie? Well, considering they had just made and released the film, I fear that the number as they did it then was a CATACLYSMIC TRAIN WRECK. It's such a hard number to sing and even harder to remember it all. If anyone was there, tell me if I'm right that they forgot most of it and the performance of that number was a disaster, or if I'm wrong and they remembered quite a lot of it and it didn't turn out to be quite the catastrophe that I was predicting.

Posted: 9/5/06 at 7:24pmIf you were at the RENT 10 benefit, they are requesting a review on the song the cast sings before Maureen's Over The Moon performance. Seems they have preconceived notions about how it went due to their opinion that the song is as hard to decifer as their question.

Just a question....
Don't they teach english in school anymore? You shouldnt type the way you speak or it just makes ya look like you dont know what your trying to say, you know? I mean that if your talking to someone, and like then you try to type your typing makes no sense. Get it? You see like if ya type in english then you know people can help, you know answer your question.

Posted: 9/5/06 at 9:59pmI thought Christmas Bells was good. I think to do it great, the actors coould have used a bit more practice, considering the many competing lines in it. However, that song in particular, reestablished why I love Rent the stage production, more than the movie. The good thing about the movie though is that you don't have to either go to NYC, or wait for the tour to come, to get your Rent "fix"

I'm so sorry that I stumped you all grammar-wise. Thank you to bwayondabrain and Popular for deciphering what I was saying. You guys get kudos.
It's just I should've been more attentive to my grammar problems. I did not mean a thing. If I did, it wod hva luked liket his. An nodboy wod undsretnad it thend, right?
Okay, that was intentional. Just playing with you. But other than that, I didn't mean it.
Anyway, according to saschasf, I kinda get the notion that it was 80% good, not PERFECT, but I still hoped it to be at that level.
