For those of you who have seen DRS...did Norbert start to laugh when John Lithgow said he's going back "home" to Detroit? I was only wondering because I don't understand why he'd laugh at it after doing it several times a week. Also, why would he only laugh that one time? I imagine Lithgow didn't deliver it any different.

I don't remember that line, but maybe I'm just not smart, could it have been ad libbed?

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

I don't think so, I remember hearing about a reference to Detroit in the show from other people.

Its a scripted laugh...he laughs because throughout the show, Lithgow's character implies he is a high class England native, so when he says "Detroit", Norberts character laughs as if to say "Ha, another con"

Really? It looked like he was trying not to laugh. But what you said makes sense.
