All I can think of when I see her is Lady of the Lake in Spamalot because she overvocalizes so much (she's talented but I'm not a big fan, don't tomato pelt me). But she'd be perfect for Lady of the Lake.

If Percy Blakeney were in Les Mis....

Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)

I think she would need more vocal training to be Lady of the Lake.

I'd see her in "Spamalot" but I kinda like the suggestion of Eponine. I thought she was great in her performances; especially her "Over The Rainbow." WOO! That song was amazing I'd probably watch her in any show after that one.

Cheers,

Christopher

Yep, Kat was a student at the Boston Conservatory for Musical Theatre. She could definitely do a Broadway show.

as far as i know, idols are under contract with fox for one year and can not do anything until that has expried. so it'll be a while before you see her do anything besides release an album.

Her voice was so grating and awful. She was flat on most of her songs and she oversang everything. She needs to just stay away from a Broadway stage for a while until she finds her true voice and not her weak imitation of Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera.

She's good, but she seems extremely cold.

I completely disagree that Kat's "voice was so grating and awful." Like Randy Jackson says, at times she was pitchy, but I think she has Broadway-star quality. I think AI tends to push singers to oversing. It's one big karaoke competition, nothing more. I think she made the best of some of those terrible songs, especially that last one she had to sing that was supposed to be her single. I think she could do a great Marian from Music Man or the lead girl in Oklahoma. Both classics.

"Champagne makes me drowsy!"

WORDS TO LIVE BY:

As we stumble along on life's funny journey. As we stumble along into the blue. We look here and we look there, seeking answers anywhere. Never sure of where to turn or what to do.

Still we bumble our way through life's crazy labyrinth. Barely knowing left from right nor right from wrong. And the best that we can do is hope a blue bird, will sing his song as we stumble along.

I could see her as Eponine! She says she's an actress and her voice is AMAZING!

Just because I got the lead doesn't mean you can't be my understudy!:)

Yes, "grating and awful" is correct. I was a fan of hers in the beginning, but as the show went on, I noticed how pitchy she was all the time. And that there were singers who deserved to be in the final episode. She is an OK singer, but not what I would call amazing. But if some people like her, then I say more power to them. She's not my cup of tea and I am entitled to my opinion, as you are entitled to yours.

Oh my Lord Please don't put her in Les Miz!!!1 I love that show and she would destroy it for me! Her voice grates on my nerves so bad I can't stand it. Go let her do some show I am not interested in!

As for the the Idol wannabe's that got booted off the show they are only under contract until the end of the tour..but the idol producers have first right to get them on contract if they want them. I am not super sure about the runner up though. That might be a bit different or it might not be.

I have RSD...but it doesn't have me!!!!
