Yes, Cheno could sing just about anything and make it sound fabulous. She is just one of those people who can sing any genre with ease and grace. I love her!

Who does she "thank" in her liner notes?

Sorry my copy doesn't have a complete book, just the cover shot and a song list, but I'm guessing she thanks "God." Or maybe "God and Taylor."
I just listened to the clips on the website. Amazing how a 20-second clip of "Word of God Speak," which we happen to be using as a gradual at my church right now, can take my breath away and bring tears to my eyes.
It is going to be a long week and a half of waiting until the album comes out!

I am SO happy that she is not being attacked for singing Christian Music.
I have SO much respect for her for sticking to her religious convictions.
She turned down Millie!
I don't know how Millie could be that bad, but I don't care.
I hope I can stick my religious guns like her.
Can't wait for this CD.
She is truly amazing in every way. A true gem.
Why exactly did she turn down Millie???

Millie didn't fit into her religious beliefs, I believe.
Don't ask how Millie is that bad, but I give her "mad props" for sticking to her beliefs that much.
Can Kristin dance?
Oh well, I'm sure they would've worked around that.
Yummy.
The reason Kristin turned down MILLIE was to do her short-lived TV series "Kristin" instead. I love the gal, but she was thinking of those heavenly residuals at the time.
And even though she played a good Christian woman in the big bad working world, she got rapped a bit from more conservative Christians because in one episode Kristin acted like she was having an orgasm and made the appropriate moans of delight.
I'm sure Sutton gives thanks every night that Kristin chose what she did.

Master-
But that sure was one funny episode. =)
I agree, good for her for standing with her religious beliefs and singing songs that obviously really mean something to her. Not only do I admire her talent, but the fact that she sings songs that are so close to her heart. The end result is something that takes my breath away every time.
I believe that how much those songs mean to her comes through when she sings them. Having seen her sing similar songs live, I can tell you that she sings from a place of deep, personal faith. It is truly beautiful.
Do you guys recommend getting this album even though your not really religious?

Hmm. Taylor doesn't exactly fit that list, does it?
LOL...I agree. "Taylor" is an odd choice on this album, but perhaps she is simply giving her fans a little treat.
