Karen Mason's Cabaret at the King Kong Room

I jsut got back from seeing Karen Mason perform her new show at the Supper Club's "King Kong Room". First off, thank go I didn't go for the food or drinks, because the service was god awful. However, Karen made up for it... She started off with "All That Jazz", except it was sang to the background music of "Roxie", which was really cool. The theme for her show was songs from movie musicals, so she sang something for everyone, from "Almost Paradise" to "Get Happy". Another of her best songs came when she one-uped her former co-star Louise Pitre with HER rendition of "The Winner Takes It All". While I think Louise nails this song, Karen totally broke my heart with her delivery. Everytime I see her I hope and pray that she'll be back on Broadway soon, because she is truly one of the best performers in New York. Did anyone else go? We also saw Swosie Jurtz sitting right to the right of the piano!

Karen singing "The Winner Takes It ALL'?? I would loved to have seen that!
