While Kari waits and waits in AGT's purgatory, she has posted on her Web blog asking for help in choosing her next song, should she get the call. She absolutely realizes the disadvantage the wildcard acts face not knowing whether to rehearse or return to work...
So what should her next song choice be, if and when... (although I am certain it will be when and not if so that AGT can maintain its contrived and unfair drama).
Help Kari choose her next song, here

While I am away on vacation, I heard Kari Callin was not named as one of the wildcards on AGT.
I guess a yodeling dominatrix shows more promise. Go figure.

Just wanted to bump this thread to talk about last night's show, since I remembered some talking about similar things on the thread.
Did anyone see last night's show? And what happened with 13 year old dancer Arcadian Broad? He did a dance to some High School Musical song and the Piers was not especially thrilled. After the judges spoke, Arcadian asked if he could say something and say that "it was not his choice to do High School Musical but the producers -" and then the judges cut him off very quickly. As they were going to commercial after his act Nick Cannon said something like, "Give it up for Arcadian Broad. The contestants do have the final choice over their act. We'll be right back."
The fact that producers pressure the acts to do something specific does not surprise me at all. How they handled that did. Having Nick say something (he wears something in his ear at all times) was so petty and ridiculous and had I watched the show not on DVR it would have made me immediately vote for Arcadian. It's not about his dancing, it's about how the producers of this show act. I am completely appalled.
^^ I saw it. The judges quickly cut him off. I wasn't surprised at all. I wonder if Arcadian got reprimanded for mentioning the producers' involvement? I'm sure they weren't happy about it. I think Nick's comment was just a lame effort to spin the issue and cover their tails.
Sadly, that's not surprising considering what the producers did to Kari (told her not to wear nice clothes for her audition).
Haven't watched the show since.
I do feel bad for the people this show has decided to chew up and spit out.
One word: Despicable.
