Kate Manning as Evita

I just saw Kate Manning play Evita in the national tour the other night (Detroit) and she was brilliant. I guess she's a cover and she usually plays the mistress, but frankly i can't imagine her in any other part. she's small compared with the rest of the cast but her voice and her energy! she just blew the stage away. it added a whole napolean-evita thing. and you could really see her as the young eva just swell and completely dissolve. i've seen the show a few times before but i've never seen it like this. Let's all hope she goes on again and again! she is real power house star, a true actress. Look out for her.

I'm so glad you liked her!! She is a true gem, and she made a great mistress when I saw her. Please more details of he portail of Eva Peron!! Anyway, since she was in for Evita who was the Mistress? Was she any good? Has anyone seen Angela De Cicco in the role of Evita yet? Thanks!!

Ive seen Angela as Eva, and frankly she needs work. But I did see Kate Manning as the mistress, and she shined in that SMALL of a role. I wish I saw her as Eva!
