Kate Manning as Evita

I just saw Kate Manning play Evita in the national tour the other night (Detroit) and she was brilliant. I guess she's a cover and she usually plays the mistress, but frankly i can't imagine her in any other part. she's small compared with the rest of the cast but her voice and her energy! she just blew the stage away. it added a whole napolean-evita thing. and you could really see her as the young eva just swell and completely dissolve. i've seen the show a few times before but i've never seen it like this. Let's all hope she goes on again and again! she is real power house star, a true actress. Look out for her.
