Why has this thread taken this turn? And why the He** is it now about Orfeh? I'm not sorry I stated my opinion about Shindle's acting but I am sorry there's always someone who wants to pollute these threads with nonsense. I can see Orangeskittles joining the Orfeh bashing any minute.

And now back to our regularly scheduled topic....this thread is not about Orfeh. Let's not get into this argument again. The majority of people who saw Blonde found her to be great, myself included, but people are allowed to have a different opinion. Let's leave it at that.

If anyone saw Kate in "Sympathy Jones" you could recognize that she could act. She has EXCELLENT comedic timing and is so fun to watch when given more to work with :)

It's obvious Bobby has a great passion for Kate Shindle (he started this thread) and I can more than respect that but the dark turn it took at Orfeh's expense is ugly.

And my less than glowing thoughts on Shindle's acting have nothing to do with my love for Orfeh. Do you see why your sudden attack was odd?

If you're going to challenge Shindle's acting, I can challenge Orfeh. I didn't bring Orfeh up, it just went there. I'm sure she is a nice person, and would be great in a serious project. I just don't think she has NATURAL comedic ability. For the record, I don't think Shindle does either.

Orfeh is just mad because Andy Karl makes out with me every night at the stage door (wink, wink, peach offering, I'm sorry).

More than willing to accept a "peach" anytime it's offered. :) I actually thought Orfeh was hilarious in Trailer Park and the material was better. That whole cast was tremendously talented.

No one should ever have to apologize for an opinion Bobby, it just seemed like anger towards Orfeh for no apparent reason. I was honestly trying to "slam" all the posters who've gotten on me when I've brought up how Orfeh probably shouldn't take over a role after a Tony Nod (old, old thread). But I appreciate it nonetheless.

I love me some Trailer Park. And I do enjoy Orfeh's singing of "Make Like a Nail".

I just think all the supporting roles in Legally Blonde are poorly written. Perhaps that's my problem with her performance.

This would be amazing and now that it has been pointed out I can't believe I've never thought of it. antiandrewx pretty much summed it up for me...she'd be fierce!

...and I also agree with Lauren_T, Vivienne is a strict role and it makes Kate seem that way as well. And the wig probably doesn't help.
