I recently acquired the national tour souvenir program for Katharine Hepburn as "Coco" (with Daniel Davis as Sebastian Baye). The star biography is one of the most unexpected I have ever seen: in lieu of a long florid passage is a simple, two page chronological listing of her professional stage and screen credits. Next to each title, Ms. Hepburn has supplied a brief annotation in regards to how the project was received whether good or bad. Have there ever been any other star bios that have been this unexpectedly frank?

God I love this woman
Thanks for posting!
I remember hearing Daniel Davis talk about that tour and Ms. Hepburn. He said that when they got to his home town in Texas, she filled a limo with flowers and had her driver take her out to his home to call on his mother who was sick and unable to see the show. He said she spent the whole evening there and he was interested in the fact that at one point late in the evening she pulled out a pack of cigarettes and lit up. He asked about it because she was always nagging the cast and crew about their smoking. She informed him that smoking was only a problem when you did it before midnight. After midnight it couldn't hurt you and was perfectly all right.

Mamie, I love it. You can pretty much picture the whole scene unfolding.
Just came across this article: Robert Lindsay was asked to dine with Hepburn while appearing in "Me and My Girl"
Hepburn Asked Out Robert Lindsay
"I always forget those little boys' names."
