Unfortunately I have not seen many shows. Of the ones I've seen the two that stood out would be:
Kate Fleetwood: Macbeth - still blown away after a year and 4 months of seeing it Alice Ripley: Next to Normal

^ I sat row E seat 9, and the view was amazing. I'm not sure if two rows ahead would be much different.
