Did anyone see her on her soap opera today? Do you know the name of the song she sang? It was AMAZING and so was she!

Thanks perfusion, I am really curious as to the name of the song, the composer, lyricist, and if it is a song sung by Ms. Brier today only for the show, or has been recorded by someone else.

I'm so sorry I never saw Kathy in Hairspray, but she happened to be on vacation when I went in March 2004.

I was randomnly at a friends and we heard someone singing on the soap his aunt was watching adn I was like "dude, that's Kathy Brier...isn't this song Kristen Chenoweth's!?"

She sang Borrowed Angels, which is a Diane Warren song written for Kristen Chenoweth for her newest album that was just released like, a month ago - if you get the chance to see her in concert, she performs it beautifully and I believe she has for the troops or something along those lines.

Really beautiful song. I particularly enjoy the Cheno's rendition more but...it was also the first time I"d heard it so....

Kathy Brier's voice is a sheer pleasure to listen to; Marissa Jaret Winokur, not so much. I can't even listen to the HAIRSPRAY CD after seeing Kathy sing the role.

And I also thought Kathy did a nice job singing on One Life to Live today.

I liked Kathy's take on Tracy so much better than Winokur's. And I agree, Brier was amazing on yesterday's OLTL.

Kathy Brier is Wonder Woman! Seriously, I believe I read somewhere that she'd only sleep 4 hours a day in order to star in both Hairspray and One Life to Live!

Hey, people, just b/c you love Kathy doesn't mean you have to bash Marissa. I don't want to start drama(this is BWW, who am I kidding?), I just wanted to say that you can like them both.

I do think that Kathy is fantastic. I saw her in Hairspray twice and boy can she sing! Really soulful, that's right, she's a black girl!

Although it's very short, she sounds great on the Hair cd. The whole minute and a half or however long it is. What talent they have on that cd, I love it!
