I was just curious if anyone saw her in Urinetown and how they liked her! Or if anyone has seen her as Glinda on the tour. I saw her as Glinda and LOVED her but was just curious what everyone else thought:)

What is your dream role? My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!

i saw her as Glinda here in LA.. and i thought she was good... she certainly had the voice... but there was something missing... she has a far superior voice to Kendra's... but Kendra had the whole role down... especially in her acting and comic ability... so... Katie was wonderful and enjoyed her performance tremendously.. i just found it lacking that special X factor or whatever...

I can imagine that if she had the role full time she would find her nitch! I think it must be hard to be standby and not really get to be in the role much. I LOVED her and hope that she gets to do the role more or better yet gets to be standby in NY!

I saw Katie as Glinda twice in L.A.- love her! As in, I actually got excited when I saw her name on the 'at the performance' board before the second time, and started talking her up to other people I'd met in line, love her.
Completely enjoyable performances.

i saw in her both shows (not as Glinda) and she was the only cast member from Urinetown whose autograph i didn't get. I was getting one from someone else while she was signing my friend's poster. All I remember is that there is a cross in her signature. right? cool times. i love seeing the same person in many different shows (not like 2 is many...).

I agree with Anakela. I also saw Katie go on twice in L.A., and while I don't have anyone else to compare her with in the role, I thought she was amazing.

I saw her as Glinda in LA too. I thought she did a fabulous job! It was really eerie because she reminded me so much of Cheno. :)

I saw her as Glinda in Chicago and thought she did a great job. She kind of had a Reese Witherspoon thing going, IMO. Also, don't know if it was just me, but I got the impression that she chose to play Glinda as drunk during Popular - which I thought worked surprisingly well. Amazing voice, never saw/heard Kendra so couldn't compare but I thought she was as good as Megan, who I saw in December.

The guy sitting next to us had flowers so of course we inquired, and it turned out it was her boyfriend, so after the show he took us back to meet her and she was just the sweetest thing ever. Hope more good things come her way.

That's funny that you say Katie has a Reese Witherspoon thing cause when I saw Emily the first thing I though was Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. That's TOTALLY how Emily plays Glinda and I think it works so well. I couldn't pin Katie...I don't know how to describe her Glinda.

I saw her as glinda, and she was pretty good. she has a better voice than kendra IMHO, but I think she played the character wrong. She made Glinda seem just plain stupid.

She is on tour with Wicked (Glinda understudy) and was Soupy Sue on tour with Urinetown. Here is her headshot and one of the many pictures I have with her. My avatar is also the two of us being goofy.

I saw Katie perform in the role as Glinda for the first time. It was in Chicago, she didan amazing job. I think her singing is wonderful she was hilarious, I like her much more than Kendra in that role. I am just a diehard Katie fan.

I really like Katie Adams, I saw her in Urinetown, but I dont remember much. I also saw her on the Wicked Tour, she is really sweet. I ran into her, Jenna Leigh Green, Emily Rosomething, at the starbucks across the street for the theatre in San Fran when I won tickets at the Lotto. She is a great performer, solid and skilled. I really liked her Glinda.

Katie really is HILARIOUS in the role! I really hope that she gets go Broadway and can do it every night. I think that she would really do SO well in the role and really make it her own! I'm so excited for her...she has SO much talent and I just KNOW that she is going to go so far! She has such a bright future ahead of her!

John3...How fun! Jenna and Katie and Emily (Rozek) are all so wonderful and ALWAYS SO nice! I saw Emily as Glinda too. She was awesome!

I would have LOVED to have seen Katie in Urinetown. It's one of my favorite shows:) Yay for Soupy Sue:p

I've only had the chance to meet Katie twice (at the LA and SF stagedoor) but haven't had the opportunity to see her perform!

My best friend saw her as Glinda yesterday afternoon but she didn't come out after the show!

She's a cutey patootey!
