Debbie Allen directed this revival at CTG in 2023, with Ray Fisher as Muhammed Ali. Wonder if he'd continue on for Broadway? He was really terrific in The Piano Lesson (stage & screen). Notably, LeBron James' company Springhill was behind the CTG production.

I don't know the play. Is this much of a role for Keke? Playing "the wife" in a Great Man Play can sometimes be a thankless task...

Admittedly I don’t know the play either, but it looks like it’s a role that’s been played by Nikki M. James and Danielle Deadwyler, both to critical acclaim.

Just watched and she said she’s “hoping” to come. Doesn’t sound like it’s a done deal.
