Unfortunatly, a tv/movie star is allowed to make her Broadway debut, do a servicible job, and get a nomination over a hard working stage-only actress in a more challenging role.

But, guys, she BROKE her foot! She so deserves a Tony just for that!

Yes, kelli was robbed. Absolutely. As was Miss Ramirez, but I would not suggest that just because Applegate's name "carries more weight" because she is a tv/film star, she nailed the nomination without work.
Discrediting her work, performance, and/or ability just isn't fair. I am sure doing this show is not a cake walk. but I am also not saying she deserves the nom either.

I think there's no way they considered Sara a lead. She's in two moments in the 2nd act. I just think they were, surprisingly, unimpressed or else she was edged out slightly by someone else.

I hope Kelli knows she has lots of fans out here and most are in agreement she should have been nominated at the very least. But I have a feeling there is LOTS more in this talented performers future! 3 cheers for Ms O'Hara hip hip hooray!

im not bitter over christina getting a nom... i figure all the off broadway noms have more to do with certain expected people being left out...

Kelli O'Hara provides not the slightest bit of charm, vulnerability, or simpatico to TLITP and is one of its greatest liabilities.

We have yet to hear from our "critics" why they didn't enjoy her performance that they bashed.

NO...I agreed with ljay that Christina got a nod because she is a definite lead. I said nothing about Kelli not deserving a nod.

You're using logic. Something they don't teach in 6th grade.
So FO..how was the show? You agreed that Christina deserved the nom. So you've seen it. When did you catch it?

Tuttle is just a blabbering idiot. After all, he thinks that talent is the determining factor in whether or not someone is considered leading or featuring.
Keli O'Hara is talented, no doubt. But she's very disposable in the part. I didn't find her memorable or exceptional in any way.

Yes Mr T..I love it when other other comment on performances they haven't even seen. It's obvious Fonatic and Lj haven't even see Christina or even Kelli, but both feel the right to bash someones performance.
You are so right...they are 6th graders.
