Idina pulled it off and her acting talent is limited. I thought she sung the sungs nicely but I just didn't see enough passion or connection with the role, in her performance. To put it bluntly, i just didn't believe she was Elphaba, I was wholely aware that she was an actress playing the role of Elphaba.

Kelly could play Elphaba, Madonna could be Glinda, and the show could run forever. I'd go see it every single night.
