I read in the NY Post today that Kelly Osbourne is going to be Tracy in "Hairspray" on Broadway this spring... any other news on this?

OH MY GOD! What's Carly Jibson gonna be doing? Kelly Osborne?! Okay, I know I already did a thread about this...but seriously...Pop stars are taking over Broadway, and even worse then that, it seems like you have to have a sister/brother/mother/or father already in the singing business if you want to get a job in this day 'n age! GRRRRRR it makes me sooo mad!

The role was handed to me on a silver platter. I offered it to you, Corine, but you have opted to keep your light under a bushel. Which is a shame. Kelly Osbourne is more than welcome to shadow me as I learn and make the part of Tracy Turnblad my own. As luck would have it, I am this close >< to inking a deal with Mark Burnett for a reality show called Namoing Tracy, which will be a behind-the-scenes look at me as I gear up for my run in the smash hit musical Hairspray. The synergy of Kelly showing me the reality TV ropes as I show her the Broadway ropes is perfect. Here's hoping she signs soon. Ya can't make this stuff up.
