For the people who have heard this... has anyone else noticed that the end of the song's piano sounds basically exactly like the end of "Somewhere That's Green" ????

I haven't heard it, but I remember when the movie The LIttle Mermaid came out (almost 20 years ago--YIKES!), my sister said that that song reminded her of Little Shop of Horrors, and lo and behold the same writers!!

I didnt notice until i heard Seths big fat broadway interview with Kerry Butler on Sirius.

The songs are definitely similar. But I'm not sure if the ending Seth played is the "correct" ending or if he was being clever...

It always amused me since I first heard the song from Little Shop that these songs sound very similar and are both by Menken.
