Did he ever go in for Hugh Jackman? Anyone see him?
No he never went on. And when Hugh took vacation, the show shut down for that period.
Wasn't he on Days of Our Lives?
Yup.
that is kinda sad that they shut down when jackman wasnt there.
fun fact I suppose... Kevin canceled an extended one week retern engagement of COMPANY at Starlight Theatre here in San Diego in order to join the cast of THE BOY FROM OZ. then, of course, never went on...
He was so great in Days. I bought my BFO ticket so I could see Hugh, but I wouldn't exactly be crying into my soup if Kevin had gone on instead. (I suppose I'm that very, very tiny minority.) What a shame about the other show, CatsNY!! How depressing must that be? But at the same time, he's getting paid to be sitting in a coffee shop around the block from the Imperial every single show night!
Didn't Michael Halling take over for him?

I did see him in one of the performances as a replacement for John Hill ( who was playing the role of Mark Heron, Judy's husband) who was out for the night. Maybe it was because he had not been on a live performance in TBFO before, but he was a little wooden. I was wondering then how he could replace Hugh if the latter was suddenly indisposed.

Yes, Kevin never went on for Hugh and eventually left the cast early and did not stay for the whole run.

He also was in one of those Mature Audience features you get On Demand - lots of him naked. He has a great rear.
I've seen Kevin Spirtas locally as Rapunzel's Prince in Into the Woods and Joe Hardy in Damn Yankees. He was ok as the Prince, but downright hideous as Joe. Talk about wooden, he played Joe like a 12-year-old boy, with zero charisma OR evidence or real acting choices. And he doesn't have much of a voice either. I remember laughing out loud when I first read that he was Hugh's standby for Boy From Oz.
I think he was also in, "Meet Me in St. Louis".
Who was he on days. Was he married to the chubby lady , chole's mom.
Yup, that's the one - Dr. Craig Wesley.

I liked him on Days... forgot he was in FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH part 7 (i think) ... He is cute on film and cuter live .. saw him at Starbucks one day while he was standing by in OZ.
As for his Joe Hardy.. working opposite Mary Ann Lamb could not have helped his performance. She was so miscast as Lola!
