Kickstart new musical "Rio"

My musical 'RIO' will be premiering this July off-Broadway at the New York Musical Theatre Festival where it was chosen from hundreds of musicals as their 'Official Next Link Selection'.

With our New York premiere less than 2 months away, the buzz about our show has attracted some of NY's finest talent including; broadway director Scott Faris who just directed William Shatner's Broadway hit 'Shatner's World, We Just Live In It', choreographer Kate Dunn from 'Billy Elliot', musical director Charity Wicks from 'Spring Awakening' and a broadway filled cast who will include a soon-to-be-named cast-member from the TV show 'Smash'. As we stand at the heels of Broadway, we need to raise funds to make this the best show we can. Because 'RIO' is a story about the homeless street-kids of Rio de Janeiro, we will be donating a percentage of all profits of the show to the ABC Trust - 'The Action for Brazil's Children' - an organization dedicated to helping the street-children of Brazil. So any support we get, we will give back by supporting the relief effort for the thousands of homeless street-kids in Rio by providing them with the education, guidance and inspiration that they need to transform their own lives.
