I actually like the Gap ads too, but not because of her. I think they're great ads with cool music.

I am so happy about this. I think Kidman is an Ok actress. She was completly wrong for this role though. I agree with most of the suggestions already listed. Rachel York, Jane Krakowski and SJP would all be great as Ulla. I do think that Cady should get the part considering she won the Tony and gave a stellar performance.

OH MY GOD!

If they got Kerry Butler I would be SOOOOOOOOOOO Happy.
She and Cady are my top choices, than Krakowski.

I don't think that Kidman deserved this in the first place. The Producers should be done the right way.

My vote definately goes to Cady. She is an amazing and perfect Ulla.

Kerry Butler? Are you on drugs? This isn't summer stock, it's a movie!

I vote for Ms. Krakowski, obviously.

I think Gwyneth Paltrow could do it too. There ain't nothin' Swedish about Little Miss Parker.

Thank you...out with Will Ferrell and in with Brad Oscar! He's a good friend of mine, and hes being totally ripped off for a mediocre-ly funny famous guy.

If Gwyneth Paltrow gets the part, I'm not going to see this movie.

I would kill to see Jane in this part. Would love to hear her belting out When You Got it, Flaunt It. If not Jane, then my vote goes to Cady, most definitely.

What about Sara Gettelfinger?

re: Kidman drops out of Producers film!

I'd love to see Cady Huffman or Jane Krakowski. I saw Cady do it on Bway, and loved every minute, but I think my new guilty pleasure would be watching and listening to Jane Krakowski!!!! She would be AMAZING!!!!!!!! Mel Brooks, Susan Stroman....if you're out there.....

re: Kidman drops out of Producers film!

Toni Colette??? Yikes... Sure she can sing... but SEXPOT? No offense but she has a mouth that is more appropriate to play Audrey II...

Even Kristen Chenoworth (possibly speaking in her lower register) would be sexier and kind of a surprise to have a cute sexy thing belting out her song on top of the producer's desk...Plus she's comedic...

No... my vote still is for Brooke Shields.

I'm telling ya that Gettelfinger would be perfect if she can get out of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels for a period of time!

re: Kidman drops out of Producers film!

That would not be possible because she would have to miss the opening night of DRS. She also would have only done like a week or two of previews. And then miss opening night and a few more weeks to come. That is not happening.

re: Kidman drops out of Producers film!

I know all that. But damnit she's tall enough unlike Krakowski or Chenoweth or anybody you mentioned (besides Shields) she's sexy enough and she's got the pipes. Ah well!

"I'm going to go climb Cady Huffman" -Mel Brooks' Cousin

Ulla is supposed to be 6ft +, blonde and gorgeous with an ample chest and great legs. And a great belt. Not an easy thing to find on Broadway.
