Had a dream about it last night. Isn't that strange. Updated On: 9/18/04 at 04:41 PM
sounds fun, they can have a song called "The Blood Song", like "The gun song" from Assassins!
Alot of people get squirted with blood/hundreds/long before we gut peoples limbs...
They could also follow in the Blue Man Group's footsteps and hand out ponchos to the people in the first five rows so they don't get blood all over them!
I could see it working. They're doing Spider-Man. Why not?
I could also see a dance number like in "Aida" for the CRAZY 88! Heck, Elton John can write the music.

I was also imagining the Crazy 88 as a massive dance number. Prettified movie fighting does look a lot like dancing, and the actors who do best with harness fighting work in the movies are either martial artists or dancers. So it makes a twisted sort of sense.

The "sword" could even be a character in the musical, like the radio, washer, and dryer are in "Caroline or Change". Just think of the solos!!!

This would be seriously fun. Imagine the choreography... They could do cool asian-y music for when she's in Japan, too.
Why? Why can't these bad action movies just leave the Theatre Community ALONE!!!!
First of all, "Kill Bill" is not a bad action movie. If you've seen both, you'd know otherwise.
Second, my friend and I actually had this idea a long time ago. I thought of it more as an opera, like "Caroline or Change" or "Sweeney Todd." I tell ya, I'd be first in line to see this. I think it could work. For example, when The Bride is trying to wiggle her toe, it could slowly turn into a big tap number.
Thats awesome Quibbler, I never thought of that! I can also see the show done in the round with the audience seats kind of floating over the stage with all the action taking place below them. Well... maybe not.
I cannot tell you how wierd this is. I had that same dream last week, and I am not even joking. I even dreamt that Uma Thurman was singing and dancing as The Bride. I also dreamt that I was in the audience, next to Rosie Perez. (!)
I guess I'm not the only one with musical dreams. I was beginning to wonder.

I would love to hear what song they would use for when she kills Bill in the second movie.
