Posted: 2/11/04 at 11:55amI caught the show when it played in Stratford Ont. and it was great. Much of that cast came to NYC with CP and will need to get back to Canada for the summer Festival season. So when they say it is a limited run, they mean it. Also there will only be 5 perfs / wk. Don't miss this one!

Posted: 2/11/04 at 12:33pmI was there also last night, and I was, for the most part, unimpressed. The first act seemed to work well, but the second act felt as if it were falling apart. Brent Carver's talents are being wasted, and Christopher Plummer didn't seem to bring anything new to this.

Talk about your Odd Couples: Corine and Shakepeare!
Actually, I'm glad she was able to see this deep and provoking play. Did she understand it? I ponder.

Oh god i love the Stratford Shakespeare festival.
I went three times a year when i was in College.
I happen to be a die hard Shakespeare fan.
My favorites:
Merry Wives Of Windsor
MacBeth
Merchant of Venice!(no **** shylock)
Romeo and Juliet

So Corine is a diehard Shakespeare buff?
Then please, don't let me stop you from dying hard.
