Anyone know what the seats are? Or if this is 'rush', or actually a lottery? I can't be doing with lottery on this occasion - I need to know I've got a seat!
It's lottery. Seats are partial view in the boxes. They draw 20 names, sometimes more. SRO is only sold when the performance is completely sold out, and they wont sell it even if there are only a few tickets left.
I work there it depending on when you plan on going on the number of Lottery seats they have. Usually the beginning of the week they have more lottery seats available. The seats are scattered all around the theater.
It's really hit and miss - with more lottery tickets available during the week nights. I have seen up to 60 seats on lottery but I also was there a day they only had 12. If you need a guarantee, lottery is not necessarily the way to go.
The lottery tickets are often in the boxes..not great but not AWFUL if you are up front. But I once got 10 row orchestra lottery - almost in the center. It said obstructed view on the ticket but I couldn't figure out what I was not able to see.
So they only sell standing room when it's sold out. OK, I am going to try to see the show this Sunday, do you guys think it will be sold out? What are my chances of standing room?
This Sunday is Stark Sands last show. If you have a decent shot at SRO, it will be that show. I can assume lotto will be crazy, if his last Idiot was any indication. Good luck!
