It's a not a bad show to sit up close like that. I actually sat there for act 2 when I was there once when the ticket purchasers didn't show up...so I moved. I love to be close to the orchestra.
I think you get a little better perspective overall from further back..but I enjoyed seeing the performers' expressions up close.
There is always a trade off no matter where you sit.

Posted: 4/4/14 at 2:06pmI've seen the show both very up close and a bit farther away, and I'd probably suggest picking a seat a few rows back. It gives a better perspective.

Posted: 4/4/14 at 2:08pmUsually if you go non-premium, you can get the first row or two, since it is a bit too close, but then the next non-premium center behind those could be L or M, in some cases, so I typically opt for the slightly-too-close than kinda-far-back, sometimes front mezzanine isn't premium, too.

Posted: 4/4/14 at 2:19pmI sat in the front row back when they had a general rush instead of lottery and didn't have any problem with being so close. I had previously seen it from the mezz and I have to say for this one I definitely enjoyed it more when I was closer.

Posted: 4/4/14 at 2:22pmLOL, I did the same thing- except me and my parents all moved to the front row for act 2- it was wonderful to get out of those box seats. I LOVED being front row, it's soo energizing and thrilling. the actors all make eye contact with you and you can see everything in great detail.

Posted: 4/4/14 at 4:53pmCentre of Row A in the Mezzanine is perfect, when you sit upright you can't even see the front row of the orchestra, all you can see is the stage. I've been there twice (and once about six rows back in the orchestra) and wouldn't sit anywhere else.

I'm taller than the average, and looking to get get tickets. The only orchestra aisle seats available for the dates I can go are M and back OR row A Mez.
What is the better bang for the buck on this one Orch M or Mez A?

Definitely Mezz..it's close to the stage, 1st row Mezz is the best view in the house IMO.

I sat in the last row of the mezz and it was an awesome view.
