Her costumes (I mean let's face facts...dresses these are not)...her costumes seem to be all based on the final costume Anne Baxter wore in "All about Eve" except Anne took off the coat portion when she got home...

..as most people don't wear their coats in the house....even back then...

I mean let's face facts people just cause the lady is big-ish don't mean she can sing....

that only works in opera....

So true, especially since I missed the whole "Debbie Alley" thing, who by the way I can't stand but not sure why. I can't possibly unjoin, this is so much fun. You people are all so THERE, and I'm SOOOOOO very not there I'm on a different planet in a whole different galaxy. Just let me enjoy and insert the occasional dumb-crack.

Kirstie Allie? Singing? I've seen the commercials.. I have to turn them off -- her voice completely grates on me. I could NOT see her as Mama Morton.... I couldn't really see her singing in any show at all anyway, but that's just me

She could be Mrs. Meers. Why not? She is a very funny actress afterall. Let's see, what else could she do on Broadway? Hmmm. Nope, I guess that's it.
