DGrant...I was talking specifically about this show. It is a show about baseball. If homosexuality or nudity were not involved, how many gay men do you think would have seen it?

And thank you Wildcat.

Why do you think "Naked Boys Singing" has been successful? Don't you think it has something to do with the title?

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

If it makes you feel better, you're really unlikely to be hit by a baseball if you go to a game. The area around the plate is protected by netting. The only area where I'd feel a bit at risk is right by the dugouts, where foul balls and broken bats occassionally fly, but seeing as I have no corporate connections and my name isn't Rudy Guiliani, I'm never going to be sitting there. If you're in any other seat, home run balls can hurt, but they take their sweet time getting there, and if you don't want to catch it plenty of other people will.

The boy I was referring to was playing in the game - it was little league. He was using an old glove and the pocket in the thumb and the forefinger broke, and the ball fell through.
