Hi all - on the Barnes & Novbles site for The Art of Elegance' - this is the description

Kristin Chenoweth’s brand new CD, The Art Of Elegance, is produced by Steve Tyrell (Rod Stewart, Linda Ronstadt, Diana Ross, B.J. Thomas). During the first three weeks of November, 2016, Kristin will be performing My Love Letter To Broadway: The Art Of Elegance at The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in NYC (6 shows a week). With all of this activity, expect plenty of television appearances and opportunities.

Anyone know if there is any truth to this - or it's just a lapse? If it's true I'm thrilled! But won't Hairspray Live! be rehearsing then?

Hope its true...

The timing seemingly would work...

Frankie Valli plays the Lunt Oct 21-29...

The Illusionists start November 25th...

Not sure what type/how long the load in The Illusionists would need...

The Illustionists is just a glorified tour stop. This year's show is teching and playing 2 small markets in Ohio before it comes in to New York, closing in Springfield Ohio on November 19th. So the earliest the show loads in the November 20th, more likely the 21st. So if Kristin doesn't need to be in LA for Hairspray rehearsals, the timeline works out. 3 weeks, closing the 20th, with the 21st to load out and restore the theater for the Illusionists to come in Monday and start shows on Friday-It loads in for 2 days, and does 2 days of dress runs.

Don't the NBC live musicals rehearse/film just outside of the city? She could theoretically do both.

They're doing it in California this year

Not used to seeing meet and greets on Broadway...

Last one I recall was Mike Tyson...

It's true, but unless you have an American Express card you may find yourself looking for a seat in the rear rear mezzanine.

The limited engagement begins November 2, 2016 and runs through November 13, 2016. American Express pre-sale begins tomorrow, Wednesday, September 7th at 10am (EST).

This is the second time in recent years that this has occurred in the last few years with Kristin, the other time being for a concert at the City Center.

I don't like it. This is not a presale to reward subscribers and donors, or for charity. It's just so they can receive a fat check from American Express.
