I haven’t seen Betsy Wolfe, but Tammy Blanchard’s Audrey was one of the single worst performances I have ever seen. Utterly bizarre and painful to listen to.

I certainly think the FUNNY GIRL goodwill will ultimately push her to a nomination, especially considering it would be her first. But that’s probably as far as it goes.

I have some quibbles (mainly staging based) but WOW what an evening. The 90 minute first act flys by in what feels like the blink of an eye. She’s been pretty vocal that doing 8 shows a week again while she has small children would be challenging, and the show would need to be really worth it. She’s explicitly said she wants to play Fosca in PASSION and Desiree in NIGHT MUSIC. I’d like to add Phyllis in FOLLIES to that list as well.

Hard to imagine this will be able to extend? The Gilded Age was just renewed for a fourth season and I assume filming will begin at some point early 2026?

Love her and glad she’s returning to Broadway after some truly god awful film choices. Not sure she’d be my first choice to hear sing Meadowlark but willing to be proven wrong!

Please do the mezz at Studio 54 next. Maybe the worst mezz to sit in on Broadway (those high backed chairs).

It’s crazy to me that they haven’t been able to line up bigger names for Sally to keep CABARET running. Happy I saw it with Orville & Eva who were spectacular.
