I think she has her sights set on movies and TV for now.

Wait i thought she said she wants to come back. Like the apple tree interview on bway when rumors arose of a revival she said she would love to do it.

re: Kristin Chenoweth

I think she would be great as Maria in the Sound of Music, and Mary Poppins in well Mary Poppins lol

I hope she and Idina will return to Wicked for it's 10 year anniversary.

re: Kristin Chenoweth

they most likely will and most likely they will use them when they make the movie Kristin said they would have to use her or pay her off...

When are they making the movie?

re: Kristin Chenoweth

I think Idina and Kristin should trade places, so Kristin would be Elphaba, and Idina would be Glinda.

It will never ever happen, but wouldn't that be really funny?
And.....SCENE!

re: Kristin Chenoweth

Yes, Chenofan, that would be great.

I thought she wanted to come back and do Young Frankstein.

re: Kristin Chenoweth

i think she & amy sedaris need to do a movie together as twin sisters who have wacky hijinks.

re: Kristin Chenoweth

They ARE NOT making a movie...at least not for a while meaning a few years IF they do

re: Kristin Chenoweth

Although she is really concentrating on film and television at the moment (why shouldn't she when she is doing so well at it,) she really is now serously talking about coming back to the stage. She had a big commitment with "The West Wing" that prevented her doing any type of theatere work, but with the show's demise, she now has alot of free time to come back.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

re: Kristin Chenoweth

If they had made a musical of the JonBenet Ramsey story, Chenoweth might have been perfect. She still might be. She prances around like someone in a kiddy beauty contest re: Kristin Chenoweth

Tom! For shame!

but yeah you're right...

re: Kristin Chenoweth

I still think she would be perfect for the Legally Blonde musical.

I mean, she is a WEE bit old to play a fresh college student. . .but, come on. [Well, she DID play college-aged in Wicked. . .but that whole cast looked older.]

She'd be great! I don't know who they are thinking of to play the role, but. . .think Cheno. re: Kristin Chenoweth

But regardless of all that. . .I want her back on the stage.
whatever and ever amen - ben folds five

re: Kristin Chenoweth

When I saw her in concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in February she mentioned that Andrew Lippa (her musical director) was creating a new musical for the character Betty Boop and she hinted she would probably do it. Does anyone know the status of this project?
