and if you think idina cannot sing go to limewire, yes i know its illegal, and get i know the truth from aida. i like idina but don't really call myself a fan. she is phenomenal in that song. and i will be the first to bring up her tony appearance. she sucked! but when she is on, watch out. she is human. as for elpheba, she put her take on the role. that is her style of singing. maybe you don't like it but she was in tune most of the time. each girl has their own take on the role vocally and technically. that was hers. she didn't use much vibrato either which i liked. it is different for broadway.

I don't know why so many people insist on bashing Idina's voice. No, it's not Audra, or Alice, but I think she is quite good in her own right. She has a different style of voice. And, no, all of her songs in Wicked do not involve screaming.

i don't think either idina or kristin will do "wicked" in la. universal studios (one of the producers of wicked) will soon start airing a promotional video of the show on its tram ride to promote the la run. both stephanie and kendra will be seen in the video.

also i saw idina during her last month in wicked and she was amazing. i have to say after seeing her tony performance in june i was nervous, but she is the real deal. amazing voice!!!

the idina haters on this board are just jealous. end of story!

broadwayguy2... no i am just telling you that idina can sing. i think it is ridiculous to say she can't!

Well maybe the Tony gave her magical powers of talent but i saw her 4 times before the awards an she sucked as much as she did that night (i reffer to her Tony preformance.... which was truely horrific....


also to the Aida comment...get Strongest Suit and listen to her slaughter that song with her "singing".....

i'm sorry i just don't understand why people like her, i feel like all she does is scream...... that and i can't stand how she sucks in air to breath....
