Kristin Huffman's "ActorQuest" -- now with stories about COMPANY

Hey everyone,

BWW has a really fun new feature, but I don't know how many people know about it, so I wanted to help get the word out on the boards. I've posted about it in a few other places, but a thread seemed in order as well, since it's still relatively new.

Kristin Huffman, who plays Sarah in the Company revival, has just started a column called "ActorQuest." It's comprised of stories she's written about some of her more comic adventures in the business, from audition mishaps to interactions with her young music students and more. She has a great sense of humor that definitely comes across in her writing,

A new story goes up each Friday, so keep an eye out for the ActorQuest logo on the main page. You can find the latest one (edited 5.18.07), which is about Company, here:

I too have seen some disasterous Christmas Pagents in my time.

I'm going to have to make a point to read these more!

Thanks for posting that Emcee, I probably would've never picked up on this feature myself.

Her posts are adorable, and her sense of humor definitely shines through her writing.

Yea, I went back and read some of the other stories she posted. She does that every Friday right? New ones? I keep telling my friends to read them. You can just search under ACTORQUEST...if you can't find it for some reason.

Wonder what the next one will be!

I think she posts on Fridays at some point and then it's on the home page as "ACTORQUEST". It's an icon that is pink and yellow and red, a curtain pulled back. It says ACTORQUEST, a funny thing happened on the way to Broadway. You can also search in the Search bar just for that title...and all the other stories she has posted come up. I think that that icon stays up there most of the week and then a new story goes up on Fridays. That seems to be the pattern.

She's hilarious - and great in the show - really connected and in the moment - makes Company worth seeing (well - it's worth seeing for SO many reasons - but she certainly adds to it!)
"I don't really get the ending,all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang,and later she kissed him on the toilet,after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung,and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen,and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady?Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Another great story. That one was not as awkward or horrifying as the others, but still very entertaining, as always.
