BK - I got the front sheet of "A Place Called Home" from A CHRISTMAS CAROL, signed by Flaherty and Aherns. They're favorites of my partner's (also a published lyricist,) and he LOVES that song! His birthday is coming up, so I was ready to draw blood
And it's true - one man's trash is another man's treasure. We had a very pleasant evening (even ran into some old friends,) so I do hope you do it again.

You all can tell the main reason I loved the show
<---- [pic]
If it was 2 hours, it didn't feel like it. I could have sat through another 2 and still wanted more.
I know Bruce Vilanch is funny but only hours into the strike and he already had some great material from it.
I bid on a couple things but no wins. I saw that lots of goodies I saw went off to new homes so that was good for the winners and the charity.
I think it was a great flow of song sequence and all the performers gave justice to their songs. And the band should get kudos too, they played the heck out of the songs - switching between instruments and still keeping pace.
Bravo & encore.
