You know what, for some reason I was thinking of Berger.
I can see him as Claude. But not as Berger.
And yes, he has grown up. I always felt that if he stuck to musicals he could become a true star of the form.

I've actually heard him sing in a "musical theater" style and he's very good.
He's developed his voice and his range has greatly improved.
