FYI: this was not my experience. my ID was good enough.

I highly doubt it.
Everything I have read indicates that they are sticklers there and in order to prevent people from abusing the discount, I'd think they'd be pretty strict.
That being said - when in doubt email or call them.
In terms of knowing the Member # or having it with you, that's what it says on the confirmation when you buy tickets. If they don't actually do it, that's cool - but knowing my luck I'd be the one they kick out.

Take the member number with you... though they didn't need it when I went, but I would take the number just in case. If you have a class schedule, that should be fine, as long as there is proof that you are still in school. Just explain it to them, and maybe you can take some other form of identification [eg driver's license] to prove you are in the age group that is in fact in school.

If they see you're a kid - they aren't very strict about it.
I presented them everything they needed - but he just glanced at the stuff.
