I was wondering, In the opening "OMIGOD" how do they do the stunt with the girl coming down the pole when she says "Wait for me?" I assume it is two seperate people, but I was wondering how exactly it is done. Also, when I saw it, I could've sworn it was a man.

It is a man. Sitting in the front row, it's pretty obvious that the fully dressed girl is waiting half way down the pole and slides down when the man in the mask is out of sight.
Yes, it is a man that comes out and he mouths "Wait for me!" And he slides down and there's a "mid" section there and he stays there. There is an actress there in the "mid" section that is already there. When I saw it, I was 3 rows from the stage, so I could see her feet when she was "scrunched".
The "mid" section is the part halfway down the pole, and he goes down it, stays in the section, and then she comes down. She's there the whole time. Then she slides down and says "Omigod, you guys!" and then runs off and the scene changes to the mall.
I hope that explained it. Basically, it's a man that comes out, in the bathrobe with the showercap on, he slides down into the big wall-type area there and then the girl that has been there, comes down.

Thanks! I figured it was something like that, but it didn't look like there was that much room for someone to hide behind the Delta Nu banner that's in front of the pole. There must be! Can you see this switch from the balcony??
"Can you see this switch from the balcony?? "
No. I didn't see it when I was in the balcony during previews.
I couldn't tell.
And I was Row A.
Hahaha, I had no idea that was a man! What a job. . .

One of the times I saw it in San Francisco, I was in the front row over to the left and I could see the whole thing.

I saw it from the second row of the orchestra, and it was very obviously a man. I thought it was supposed to be obvious. Guess not, haha.
How do they do the quick change in the mall? Like when the girls crowd around her and then 2 seconds later she's in the other dress.
I believe that LBB is just wearing the dress underneath the other one.
I think what they do is (from what I could see) is that she steps back and all of the Delta Nu's gather around her. I saw through a little space between two of the girls. The dress she has on just simply slips off/rips off (I couldn't tell, it happened so fast) and then they slip the pink one on Elle that the store manager took off of the hanger and gave her.

Did anyone see Seth Rudetsky with the Evita costume change? That was interesting. I don't know what website you could find that on. . . but if there was one, it would be cool.

In the mall scene...if you're close enough, you can see that the white dress is really bulky on Laura Bell. She's got the pink dress underneath. When they gather around her, they get her out of the white dress and the pink one is revealed. The last time I saw it, you could see the shop girl hold the white dress Laura took off in a ball and what I believe is the pink dress from the hanger she shows her balled up inside it to hide it.
She is already wearing the dress, underneath the white one. The salesgirl takes the dress off the hanger, acts as though she's handing it to Elle, as the girls crowd around her. The salesgirl and Elle undo the top dress, the salesgirl takes it, and hides the dress that was on the hanger in the discarded dress, making it seem as though it was a magic quick change onstage.
Edit: Way to beat me to it, NJGirl! :-P

The costume change is a la Janet's in Drowsy Chaperone (the one where the umbrella goes over her for 2 seconds and she's magically in a new costume) It also happens to be the same designer.
NJgirl and fishergirl819 are absolutely correct. This is one I actually saw. The day we were there the sales girl didn't quite get the pink dress wadded up in the white dress to hide it and a corner of pink was sticking out. I thought hmmm... why are there two pink dresses... A-HA!
I also loved the numerous men as female inmates. Very clever.
Isn't pretty much every trick, set, entrance done with the elevator?

While we're on the topic of LB stunts, I'm wondering: how do they do the "pauses" in "Whipped Into Shape"? Especially when the table rises up from under Brooke?
She switches jump ropes.
eta: Nikki has a regular jump rope. When she gets on the table she gives her regular jump rope to one of the ensemble guys and swaps out to the 'pause' jump rope. After the pause she drops the 'pause' jump rope and Natalie Joy hands Nikki, from the file box, another regular jump rope, and that's what she uses to strangle the ski mask guy, and continue on with the rest of the number.
(This is my favorite number, I *love* watching it.)
