^^It's either people use both. But, YAY, I am so excited. I have a friend in NY who said they had the whole History Boys set in dumpsters behind the theater Monday morning and all the Les Miserables stuff was up!!!!!! WOOT!! I really hope it lasts (I think it will) and that they eventually either start the tour back up with Randal Keith as Valjean, or he joins the Broadway company because he OWNS this part. I was excited to hear when Adam Jacobs was cast as Marius because he is flipping amazing. I saw him on tour in San Francisco, ummm, two years ago I think it was and he was sooooo good. Gah, this whole cast sounds amazing, I want to come see it!!! (Damn living in Washington state....)
I ate at John's tonight and noticed that the LES MISERABLES marquis is already up, and it looks FAN TAS TIC. I looks brilliant. They put little banners up above the overhang. Check it out next time you're down there...it looks wonderful.
I thought it was Les Miz
Richard Jay Alexander said that spelling was only for the American productions. So, I guess you're right, but... since he's not involved anymore, really...

I really only thought his orthodontia was amazing. His dentist must be proud. Or Crest White Strips!

Obviously I can't wait for this show. 'Twas my first show ever when I was four and my obsession for years! And years! And still today.
Oy, time to relisten to the 30+ recordings I have and take pleasure in it!
Haven't gotten my tickets yet, but I need to. I am thrilled. Yeah Celia, yeah Drew!

I'm so envious of people living in or near New York. I don't have the money to travel there from Ohio. I'm crossing my fingers for a revival recording (but who are we kidding, they'll probably make one).
If they have a tour, will it be based on the original Les Miserables or the revival?
Ive seen Les Mis over 30 times, but not all through choice, in fact mainly because i have had friends in the UK cast. Saw it 14 times in past 3 years as my brother was playing Marius in West End... it really is a cracking show, im DEFO gonna catch it in NY wen I visit in November... cant wait....
*Don't you fret...*
This show is, was and always will be my alltime favorite It's been a part of my life for 20 years now. I have seen it 10 times, have every CD, book, ect they ever made *lol* I was there closing night on Broadway. I get to see the revival on the 27th. I can't wait
LONG LIVE LES MIZ!
Anybody else find it hot that Drew is playing Grantaire?
*raises hand*
I'm such a terrible Les Mis junkie. When it closed I was like "well now I can stop spending my money seeing it time and again..." and now... it's back. With a super hot cast.
*sigh*
Of course.
I wonder if they're going to go the usual Bamatabois/Grantaire double route. Because I imagine his Bambi would be completely batsh*t psycho. Fantine's Arrest would be...something else.
If they don't do that... now that you've brought it up... I may revolt.

I have been a fan of Les Mis ever since the TAC. I glad I got to see the tour three times, but I wish I could see it on broadway. Jenny Galloway is one of my favorite Madame Thenardier's too, HOUFlip04, she blends being mean and funny really well. Playbill.com has an article with photos, from a rehearsal two days ago(I think), and interviews with some of the cast and creative team. Here is a link to it, it is very interesting:
