LESTAT Exhibition at Time Warner Center
LESTAT Exhibition at Time Warner Center#0

I walked into the Time Warner Center (Columbus Circle) tonight only to be appalled by this hideous LESTAT Exhibition they have up. Costumes, scary decorations, and the like. Then I went upstairs to find an entire Elton John exhibition with a wax figure of Mr. John, lots of memoribilia in glass cases, and "Our Song" playing in the background. Anyway, just letting LESTAT fans know in case you want to check it out. It didn't appeal to me, but I know a couple of you out there like LESTAT. Enjoy!

foster- I actually liked the costumes for the intricate artwork and design. that's what I thought, though.
and it's at time warner because warner brothers is one of the major producers of the musical. that's where they had the opening night party, too.

Posted: 5/3/06 at 11:28amWhy is it everytime I criticize a show the first comment is: "I assume you haven't seen the show." That's the most preposterous absurd claim to make. I have seen the show, and only In My LIfe is worse. This was by far the most excruciating evening I've ever spent in the theatre. And yes, I've seen Cats and All Shook Up.

Posted: 5/3/06 at 11:40amI agree with you Fosse and we are in the majority. The music is dull except for a couple of songs. That was the reaction from the SF critics and the NY critics. You and I agree on "Cats" and "All Shook Up" as well. "Lestat" was the worst of the batch. Even "The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public" was more entertaining.
