Hi,
I am trying to get tickets for March 11, 2006 but it won't let me! It says:
Tickets are currently not available online for one of the following reasons. Please check back for availability.
BUT tickets are on sale for May? What gives?
There have been reports that the show has been postponed a few weeks, so that may be why.

The NY engagement has been postponed for 2 weeks, according to cast members.

Yup. Which makes sense because the first date that you can purchase tickets for now is March 25th.

then what happens to the tickets you already purchased before Marh 25th?

I'd say contact the box office or Ticketmaster. If the show is postponed, they will most likely give you the option to exchange for another date or refund.

Rumor alert! I have three tickets for the 11 March preview and am on the phone with Ticketmaster right now. The show is still scheduled to start previews on the 11th and is actually SOLD OUT until 25 March. Good grief, people!
Lestat lives
Lets hear it for all much maligned Vampires
whoa! I have tickets for the 24th...thought i was in for a whole bunch of refunding thing
I've said it all along, keep underestimating it. Lestat will rise From The Dead.
For those who really want tickets for the sold out performances, there's always the ol' Stub Hub option...

The word of mouth for LESTAT is so bad that they'll be GIVING tickets away to fill the seats.
I'll make no judgments until I've seen it with my own eyes.
There is a fine line between word-of-mouth and rumor/spite.
Remember, this thread was started by someone sounding an alarm that tickets were no longer on sale and that someone in the cast had claimed the opening would be delayed by two weeks. Both, at least at this writing and after checking several sources, seem to be incorrect.
Sounds like "Trouble" in Paradise
or should I say HELL
i am sure there were many meetings
today as the show DIED in SF
anyone wanna play, Which member of the Creative
UnDead team get's bitten and buried first?
Robert Jess Roth and Matt West have already been -- how shall I put this? -- neutered.
Jonathan Butterell (ASSASSINS, THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, NINE) is being brought in to perform triage and re-align the show.
The rest of the creative team (Rice, John, Taupin, and Woolverton) are "above the title" and key to Warner's marketing -- they're in for the long haul.
I'm not sure...
It's it particularly odd that exactly 2 weeks (the rumoured postponned days) is when the show is completely sold-out. Shows usually don't sell out completly in previews - especially one with the buzz of Lestat. Seems odd to me and I shall call Ticketmaster.
So the weight has been placed on the slender but oh so talented and cute shoulders of Mr. Butterell?
I wish him alot of luck!
Roth and West are sitting home playing with their Beauty $?
or are they still involved?

Called Ticketmaster - said tickets are only available to those with a special "code"

According to Entertainment Link:
Update 1/30: According to the authorized ticketer, preview performances of Lesat from 3/11/06 to 3/24/06 are offsale. This could signal a delayed start to the NYC run.

Save your money or you can send it to me if you really don't want it.
so I am safe with my tix for the 25th of march?

If the show closes you'll get a refund. In that regard you're "safe"
Oh come on, even with all the bad press I still want to see the show. That's what I meant by safe- will my performance be affected?
