Posted: 1/31/06 at 10:44amIt will make it to New York, but I don't think it will last long. It is a mess, in my humble opinion. The score is really forgettable, the lyrics are laughable, and Hugh Panaro, as much as I love him, is terribly miscast. Carolee Carmello is the only reason to see it and she is wasted. Such a shame. It really needs help from people that know how to put on a Broadway show. Where is Hal Prince when you need him?

Roth and West will still be working on the show, but Butterell is the show doctor, and as I understand it, he will remain UNcredited. Hope he's making lots of dough and ends up having a good experience.
A largely rewritten Act One , a few new songs, and a lot of visual/scenic editing are already in the works.

Posted: 2/1/06 at 3:38pmI have tickets for March 27. Why are all the Dracula/Vampire type plays on Broadway received/perceived so poorly?
