LESTAT Website.....

It has begun, lol. I am absolutely thrilled about this production, and I wish it all the best. I look forward to being able to see it in San Francisco soon. The website is very obviously new, not much to look at, but I figured I might a well mention it...Unless someone already has?!?

To make links you can either copy paste the whole Url into the main body of the message and it will auomatically be a link...

...or behind loverly door number two you can copy paste the url into the optional link box below the main body of the message...and then give it a title(otherwise it won't appear)...

Anyway...I'm excited, love the books, and knowing me I'll love it even if it stinks...

Thanks BluCat.....Yay, new lesson for the day, lol! Anyhoo, yeah I think the cast has turned out wonderfully, they are all very talented performers! The books are fabulous, and from reading several articles, it seems as if Anne Rice will be keeping a close eye on this project, which will hopefully mean that it is extremely faithful to her original books! I think Elton will do a fabulous job with the music, and the creative team looks fabulous; especially Linda Woolverton. I don't know much about Bernie Taupin, but what I do know of him, I'll be excited to see what he does with the lyrics and material.

I'm curious to see how they handle the buying of tickets for this show. If you go to Best of Broadway-SF, you are told that you must purchase a six show subscription in order to buy tickets to LeStat.

Will they release the tickets to "non subscribers" as the opening gets closer? Or are we simply screwed out of choosing what we want to see in SF?

Tickets for the SHN theatres almost always go to subcription purchasers first, and then are opened up to the public.

Lol, thanks for mentioning that! I wasn't sure...I did a search for it after I saw the Lestat site and couldn't find anything, so I figured go ahead and mention it. Oh well though....Some people got some use out of it.

Let's not get TOO excited yet, You know how well Vampires have failed in the past few attempts, I hope "Lestat" prves the victor, If not - who will we children of the night be awaiting then? Count Chocula? (Don't laugh, There is still an Ave. Q on Broadway - although not to my liking...)
