I'm not sure if its my computer (or supposed to be like that), but Matthew and Nathan sound like chipmunks... lol, humorous.
However, from what I hear (minus the chipmunk voices), the song is great. Very fitting, and oh so true!
i think the chipmunk thing is intentional, not really oscar worthy though
click on screenings and then your area, it looks like you can rsvp for them!
nevermind you have to be an academy member
NOOOO - RSVP is for members of the Academy and film critics.
it's still weird that that info is so public
maybe the film will end with an animated short with this song!

I can't get the sound to work. It's acting like it's playing, but it's not.
Hehe... weird... but cute. Just gonna have to wait and see where this fits in the show. Is this in place of the 'Goodbye!' song from the Broadway version, maybe?

That was...weird.
Not Mel's best.
i wanna say that the song isn't supposed to be that fast. it's clearly nathan and matthew singing....perhaps they somehow sped up the song on accident or something? i dunno. anyone who can slow it down or something might be able to figure that out. if this is intended speed.....weeeeird....lol

It is obvious that something went wrong in the transfering process - the song is sped up and plays at a higher speed. It is not supposed to sound like that - trust me! But it sounds very cute, and fits well with the theme of the show.
What's funny, though, about the high-speed of the song, is that it almost takes you back to that bygone era of old 45's, playing by the fire, as an old Hollywood musical movie plays on a small black and white television. I hope the critics will/can enjoy this kind of movie, and that it will go over well with them, and fans alike.
Kudos for writing a truly original Oscar-worthy song.

I have a program on my computer that can record music/sounds and then change their speed, but it's not picking anything up when I try to get the song on the Universal site. Sorry - I tried my best!

i think they sound like chipmunks because the song seems to go really fast, maybe too fast. But the lyrics are totally awesome (and true)!
It seems to be fixed now.
