I actually first saw the promo in Times Sqaure when I was walking to the Ziegfeld and as corny as this sounds, I knew I was going to be in the room with not only a legend but witnessing a once-in-a-lifetime event. It was one of the greatest nights of my life!

Ho was the audience reaction? Where they applauding after all the songs? We have a promo copy of it and I have already over played it. Next week I get to see it at the Television academy event and the rumor is that she will perform that evening.

I believe there are reviews on the board but I don't mind sharing my account.

The event began with a 5 minute clip of Liza's "Rise to Stardom" with Judy singing "Liza" and then clips of mother and daughter dancing, father and daughter ect... Once the film finally began, there was thunderous appaluse after each song. For myself, I didn't clap once, why you ask? I was speechless and motionless the ENTIRE evening. This special is in my opinion, probably the greatest concert for TV ever made. I couldn't believe I was at the NYC premier.

The tears are almost flowing. This is such an event for me. After everying I've read or heard of Liza and her performance in this concert and to finally be able to see it...I'm gonna be awe-struck by the time I watch this. Finally! I love Liza so much and seeing those clips just make me tingle!

Wow. I am almost in tears. For YEARS I have heard about what a magical event this was. To be able to see it is just a dream come true for both the musical theatre buff and the gay man inside of me.

The copy in the museum is not in very good condition. This has been remastered and restored.. and the sound has been remixed from the original sound tracks.

*cries* Dang it. Why do they have to block non US users? I get all the bum deals with internet videos (don't even get me started on the fiasco that was video streaming on the BBC site for the Olympics). Gah. It really sucks being in the UK sometimes.
