LORD OF THE RINGS sound clips?

Any previews of the music? When is the cast album coming out?

There are no sound clips anywhere (well except on the TV trailer).

And a cast recording will not be made as now the show is closing and they have lost enough money as it is.

I am especially interested in hearing Rebecca Jackson Mendoza. I have heard talk of a concept recording. One of the reasons that I hope the show will improve greatly and do much better in London, is so that enough money will be made for them to make a cast recording.

Also, I admit I am a little bitter about the harsher reviews that helped cause the show to close. I never got to see the show, I wish I had the time and money to travel, and though I understand the show is not perfect, I like to think it didn't deserve to be bashed by some critics(and fans).

This is an older thread, but I thought I'd comment back. I just found some press reeels from the show featuring Galadriel's Lothlorien, Sam & Frodo's duet, Gollum's bit, and Arwen's Song. All can be found on a site I'm not supposed to mention *youtube* under the username lotrtoronto. Enjoy!

I have listened to the "Lothlorien" clip, and enjoyed it. Rebecca Jackson Mendoza has a powerful voice. If she doesn't go to London, or if a cast recording is never made I hope Rebecca makes another CD and the near future and puts the song on it.

Can you think of any other musical theater actress that could play Galadriel really well?
