Warlow is doing Dr Zhivago in Melbourne as well. Mary Poppins closes in March and moves to Sydney. Zhivago opens May at Her Maj.

Rock of Ages will still playing at the Comedy
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

Sorry to Hijack but rosscoe, (because I find the selling and releasing of tickets perplexing), are there limited orchestra seats for Dr Zhivago because they are actually sold, or do they release them later?

Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

Most likely limited. Groups for this would be huge, they would have sold it, to every group booking company.

The grannnies will be out in force and every other group...This will be sold on warlow's name alone.

And since it's since a limited run, I would grab what ever I could find that was a good seat

According to the newspapers here, they are doing some "restructuring" with the book. Though from what l understand, its going to take a hell of a lot more than a few changes to make this turkey work.
Financially, it is a smart decision, as it'll get general public crowds in Melbourne, because of the "Phantom" name.
l'm also excited to see what Simon Phillips will do with the budget that this show will no doubt bring with it. 2010 is shaping up to be a big year for Mr. Phillips. His first Broadway show, a big new mega-musical, a production of Hamlet at Melbourne Theatre Company, and then directing Geoffrey Rush as Lady Bracknell in The lmportance of Being Ernest at the end of the year. So hopefully his skill manages to shine through the shoddy material that is "Love Never Dies".

My guess is most people can;t believe that will actually be the logo and not some quickly put together thing fro the press for right now. That mask reminds me of the crappy CD covers you see for the knock-off Phantom CDs. Although, if we are being technical, when Phantom was in Brussels the Phantom had a mask that looked just as bad as the one used here.

I do however like the gold shiny text, but the silver shiny text works better.

The one and only good thing about this poster is the removal of the faded "Phantom" from behind LND.

Seriously, it's time to fire the photoshopper. The lighting is completely off and this looks like a 5 minute job. Everything looks out of place.

It is still, however, more attractive than Next to Normal's bad 90's design regurgitation.
