Don't recall if either has ever been released on CD, but

The Utter Glory of Morrissey Hall with Celeste Holms

Nefertiti with Marilyn Cooper

I don't think the original Off-Broadway recording of One Mo' Time ever made it to CD. When it was revived on Broadway several years back, I was hoping that a CD would be released, but it wasn't a success (the revival) and no CD has been forthcoming, to the best of my knowledge.

Utter Glory is available, actually. Nefertiti is complicated but there is a cd-r available through the label.

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!

I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com

Can we get some LP's released on cd that keep the original pops and hiss? And also don't correct mistakes that were made during recording?

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Oh I wish there'd be a Donnybrook! A fine, old-fashioned Donnybrook!

Sure, lots of them. Mostly illegal bootlegs dubbed from inferior quality Lps. Not always bootlegs. I bought a CD on MCA that combined the M-g-M soundtracks of THE PIRATE, PAGAN LOVE SONG and HIT THE DECK. The tracks from PIRATE and PAGAN LOVE SONG are ok but the HIT THE DECK songs were clearly taken from a very crackly LP edition.

madlibrarian----I'm glad you mentioned Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope. I had the LP for that show and loaned it to a (former)friend and never got it back. I loved it----went to see it with my college Psych class (yes, the entire class!). I hope it comes out in CD format---it was a great show. (IMO)
