So now that the reviews are in and everyone has uttered their opinions, what does it all mean anyway??? Will the show last awhile?? Will they replace Kerry Butler? What will it do for advance ticketing?? Or in reality, will I be able to add it to my Christmas NYC visit??? Anyone have a guess???

I think it will last for a little while. I think it has a built in audience and may find its footing. I doubt they will just up and out Kerry. Have they done that before when a cast member was comsidered horrible? (I am not claiming she is... just asking the question so please do not jump on me...unless it is the good kind of jumping on me...)

I don't think you have to worry about it going anywhere anytime soon. From what I gather...MOST of the word of mouth from the "average" theater goer has been good. I've made no secret of my enjoyment of the show. But I can also agree with some of the criticism that it has received. I just thing the strength of the source material overcomes it.

oh, it should run. But expect the CABARET style "national name" replacements in the cast...

Well many felt that Smokey Joe's Cafe was wonderful (myself included) and even though the reviews were not wonderful it ran and ran and ran and became the longest running review in Broadway histroy.

Would Little Shop have fared better if they'd added an exclamation point to the title?

I think it will last also. I have tixs for January. People may see it out of curiosity.

I loved Little Shop and was surprised at the bad reviews. The show was great and I thought the cast was wonderful. I hope it stays around. I think it will because there is such a large fan base. When I saw it everyone enjoyed it and gave it a standing ovation.

Saw Little shop this afternoon and LOVED IT! It seems to me that all the reviews are NOT bad at all and that they are pretty mixed. I'm not sure if the "I told you so" is really necessary because after reading the reviews, I didn't see anything that HORRIBLE in any of them. Many of the reviewers liked the scenic elements of the show and raved about Hunter Foster and the three girls. Don't know where there is coming from but it seems to me that this show is somewhat of another Mamma Mia, the show that critics don't totally agree with but the audience loves. Heck I would go pay $100 any night again for this show...it rocked!!!!!
