Hello everyone!
I am looking to buy a pair of LaDuca tap shoes and I wanted to know how they fit. I am an 8.5 sometimes a 9 in womens and wanted how true to size they are. I do not live in New York and I can't get there before I need the shoes so I must order them online. I currently have Miller and Ben Triple Threat tap shoes in a size 40 and they fit perfect after I broke them in if that helps!
Thank you in advance!! :)

I think LaDuca shoes are incredibly overrated. However, they are real leather and they stretch. So I'd say get a half size down.
"Why not...ask someone at LaDuca?"
Also, do you live near a LaDuca retailer?

A quick phone call to the NY store will likely give you all the info you need.

Actually the women's taps don't really stretch. I wear a nine and wear a 39 in the taps, but like someone said above they aren't great. Frankly the capezio teletone tap has a much crisper and brighter sound. Plus most of the super advanced Broadway tappers you will find wear Menke's.

just my two cents... I wore LaDucas in many shoes i did but never owned a pair and a couple months i finally invested in the tan t-straps and it was the best purchase i ever made. They are super comfortable and super supportive. I am currently in a regional production and i fell a couple weeks into rehearsal and sprained my ankle. I swear i would not be able to do the show currently if i wasn't wearing Laducas in the show.

Unfortunately I do not live near any retailer. I am contacting the NYC store tomorrow to ask about fitting and all, thank you for the help though! :)
